Medscore at PSMO Convention 2025 - Where Science Meets Humanity 💙

Last week, Medscore had the honor of attending the Philippine Society of Medical Oncology (PSMO) Convention 2025 held in the Philippines. One of the region’s leading annual gatherings of oncologists, researchers and healthcare professionals across Southeast Asia to share ideas about the future of cancer care.
With the theme “𝑷𝑺𝑴𝑶 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯.𝑬.𝑨.𝑹.𝑻.” (Healthcare, Education, Access, Research & Transformation), this year’s convention emphasized that improving the quality of cancer care goes beyond medical advancement. It’s also about education, accessibility, research and the transformation of healthcare systems, all of which Medscore aspires for in its goal.
Following that spirit, Medscore created an interactive experience at the convention: a mini game simulating the “means testing” journey - the financial assessment process that patients go through before starting treatment. Through this activity, doctors were able to put themselves in the patients' position and have a more realistic and personal perception of how this procedure works.
Based on this experience, we believe that small interactions can foster deep understanding and help to bridge the gap between doctors and patients. It also showed how Medscore’s technology empowers healthcare organizations to better understand patients’ financial capacities, enabling them to co-build more transparent and equitable access to care, particularly in emerging markets.
For Medscore, this convention was more than just an opportunity to share technology. It was a chance to listen, connect and be inspired by those who dedicate their lives to improving patient outcomes. Finally, it renewed our motivation to continue using technology to drive meaningful change for doctors, for patients and for a sustainable healthcare system.
